Born to Richards O. and Bernice B. Allsup, Janice is one of eight siblings and a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She has deep roots in Annapolis, with extensive educational and professional experiences.
A lifelong member of Asbury U. M. Church, Janice has held numerous leadership roles. She actively participates in community organizations, serves as a Veterans' Caregiver, and contributes to local events like the Martin Luther King Jr. and Juneteenth Parades.
Retired from Anne Arundel County Government, Janice has been recognized multiple times as "Employee of the Month" and was named "Mother of the Year" in 2018. Her commitment to service and community engagement defines her remarkable life journey.
